Flu Shots at Florence Hill Elementary

Care Van and North Texas Flu Shots will be available to give the annual influenza vaccine to students and their families at the following locations. Families may receive the vaccine at Travis and at First United Methodist Church. This vaccine will protect against all influenza strains that are expected to circulate this year. You may choose to go to the following locations at a time that is convenient for you. The schedule is:

The cost to you for this vaccine is free if, your child qualifies for Texas Vaccines for Children for students 18 and under. They qualify by one of the following circumstances:
- No insurance
- Under insured – insurance does not cover vaccines or only partially.
- Child is Native American, or Native Alaskan
The flu vaccine is also free to adults in your family if you have insurance by: BlueCross Blue Shield, Humana, Aetna, Cigna or United HealthCare PPO plans. HMO plans cannot be accepted.
If you do not have an insurance plan that covers the cost of the vaccine, the prices are:
Flu - $20.00 and Pneumonia $200.00.
