Degrees and Certifications:
Greetings High School Parents!!!
I am so happy to take this time to introduce myself to returning and new high school students and to provide a greater understand of what the YWLA “College Bound Program” really means to your family. Our college bound program is a comprehensive approach to college advising with a focus on individualized college counseling. This is a free service that most public high schools do not offer. I personally have a background in college admissions and working with high school students in finding the best-fit college or university to attend after they graduate from high school. My purpose at YWLA is to provide exposure to the college life before high school graduation, to assist with the college search process, provide guidance on scholarship and financial aid process, assist on essay writing tips, and parent education on supporting your student through the college selection process. It is an honor and a privilege for me to provide my professional expertise and skill set to help students and families through this stressful process. The College Bound Program is available to all high school students enrolled at YWLA and participation is highly encouraged for all girls from grades 9th through 12th.
College and University Recruiters:
We welcome all colleges and universities to our campus to meet with our young ladies. YWLA uses RepVisits to book college/university campus visits. We welcome two options to meet with our scholars. We have 30 min presentation times during high school lunch (11:25-Noon) or during that time frame you can just set up a table during lunch in our cafeteria. You can visit this link to find a time that works best for you to visit with us- www.repvisit.com. Once there just search for our campus: Young Women’s Leadership Academy at Arnold where you should see all the available time slots.
If you do not see a desired time to come visit our campus, please email me directly at Demetra.firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try to make accommodations for your college/university to visit our campus.
