GenTex: College and Career Week November 16-20, 2015
Monday: Wear BLUE day! Students will wear the color blue to represent their determination in reaching towards the sky and never giving up on their dreams!
Tuesday: College Spirit Day! Students and Teachers will wear their college T-Shirts.
Wednesday: “I want to be a ____________ when I grow up! Dress like a professional! Students will dress in their future career choice! If students do not have an outfit that resembles career choice, students can dress in business attire.
Thursday: Cap and Gown Day! Students and Teachers will wear a cap and gown representing determination in finishing school and going all the way.
Friday: Going to College is a SMART Idea! Students will dress like a NERD to show that they are not ashamed to be SMART and will attend college! Fourth Grade students will present their Career Research Project in our Student Career Fair to Kinder and 1st grade students on Friday morning from 9:00-10:00 am in the cafeteria. Fifth grade students will present their Career Research Project in our Student Career Fair to 2nd and 3rd grade students in the cafeteria from 2:00-3:00 pm.
