Purpose and Mission

1. Comply with state laws, the Texas Education Code, the Board of Education policies, division procedures and sound business practices.
2. To provide quality products and services that meet the specifications requested to all Grand Prairie Independent School District departments.
3. To obtain the most competitive price for the products and services purchased utilizing procurement techniques that stimulate vendor competition.
 

Compliance

Compliance with the standards of the Texas Education Agency, Texas State Attorney General's Office, and local policy are paramount in regard to competitive bidding.  In an attempt to increase participation in the bid process, GPISD publishes all requests for bids and requests for proposals at this site.

If you would like to be placed on our vendor list in order to receive future bids, please fill out the Vendor Information Form. You will placed on our bid list to receive future bids in the category that you indicate on the form.  Although many of our bids are done on an annual basis, usually during the summer, we do post invitations throughout the year.
