Recognition Opportunities
STUDENTS OF CHARACTER
Every six weeks each GPISD school selects their Student of Character.
These students are recognized at the School Board Meeting
following the end of each six week period.
Their photographs are displayed on GPISD TV Comcast Channel 98.

Each six weeks, schools select an Employee of Character. These employees are recognized on their campuses.

PILLAR OF THE COMMUNITY
The purpose of the Pillar of the Community Award is to provide role models for GPISD students. These are everyday people who have shown great courage, made a significant difference in the lives of others and exemplify the Six Pillars of Character.
To nominate a Grand Prairie resident for this award, tell us "Would the world be a better place if we had more people like (name of nominee) in our community and why" in 300 words or less and send to:
